Imelda Galdamez currently serves as the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) Coordinator and Cooking Matters Program Lead for Michigan State University Extension. She is a member of the National Web Based Nutrition Education Evaluation and Reporting System (WebNEERS) Committee, leads the WebNEERS BETA team, and served as the past EFNEP: PSE Committee Co-Chair. She has over 10 years of experience working in the area of public health, specifically community nutrition with underserved communities. She holds a Master’s in Social Work Degree focused on Management of nonprofit programs, with a minor in interpersonal skills. Her interests are leadership development, training, interpersonal growth, and mentoring. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three children, husband, and community.
